Psychology is a science that uses the scientific method, psychologists are taught to analyze people even friends and family. I think of therapy and learning mental strategies to engage with people, I never knew the scientific method was used in psychology and thought it was all situational. They may think that psychologists are know-it-alls. They may think that psychologists are just people like them and cant help them because only you can know yourself and not a therapist. can you answer the following questions? what is your response to that provide a paragraph?

I think that the misconception is that if you're going to be a therapist, then you need to be able to analyze people. I think that's a little bit too much into it and can actually be very intrusive. Talking to someone about their life can be therapeutic, but if it's going too deep then it might not be comfortable for the person. Instead of asking personal questions, it might be better to try and empathize with the person.

Some of the misconceptions the psychology mentions about the field of psychology are relationship problems, "do you want to be a therapist?", and "are you analyzing me?." When I think of psychology, I think of going to see a therapist. I think a therapist is someone who helps with life challenges and mental illnesses. Yes, one of my misconceptions was that a therapist is the only form of pyschology. Some misconceptions that the general public have about psychology that I've heard about is smiling is the secret to happiness and that venting helps you overcome anger. Smiling is not the secret to happiness because smiling all the time can trigger you into thinking that you always have to be happy. Sometimes faking a smile could become annoying especially when you're hurting inside.If you're faking a smile, you would start to feel very emotional. The reason you would get emotional is because you know deep down that you aren't truly happy. Venting does not help you overcome anger. The more you talk/think about it the angrier you become. Overtime I've learned that meditation, art, and music is my way of relieving stress or anger. Also, when you vent to someone and they're unable to provide you with a solutions, or even just an answer it'll just build up more. can you answer the following questions? what is your response to that provide a paragraph?
