The Battle between the Romans and Celts raged for hours, with the Celts proving to be incredibly brave and fierce warriors. The Romans seemed to be losing, and the numbers of dead, from both sides of the battlefield, were growing. Eventually, the Celts successfully slaughtered almost the entire Roman army, with only a few survivors making it out to tell the tale. This victory was a huge moral boost for the Celts, and they decided to march on Rome and besiege the city. The siege of Rome lasted 7 long, hard years, with the Celts slowly constricting the city and slowly, but surely taking control. Eventually, things seemed dire for the Romans, and they seemed ready to admit defeat until suddenly a fresh Roman army of 50000 marched in and attacked the Celts, catching them off guard and putting an end to the siege. The city of Rome laid in ruins, and a large amount of rebuilding was required, as the Celts had a done a great deal of damage during their siege. Unfortunately, the victory for the Romans was short lived. Out of nowhere, the Carthaginians took advantage of the weakened Roman army and attacked the city. However, the Romans managed to repel the force with the help of their 50000 strong army. The Carthaginian army was eventually defeated, ending the conflict and allowing the Roman army to begin the work of rebuilding the city of Rome.
