The structures were designed to be easily taken down and moved as the tribe followed buffalo herds. Clothing: Clothing of the Great Plains was made from animal hides and furs. Women typically wore dresses and leggings while men often wore breechcloths and moccasins. Arts & Crafts: The people of the Great Plains have a rich tradition of arts and crafts. The tribes created painting, beadwork, pottery, basket weaving, and even jewelry.
