If I wasn't able to escape, I would be trying to hear what the survivor is saying and work out a plan to communicate with them. I'd try to make them understand that I don't mean them any harm, and that I just want to get away from the environment I'm in. I'd also try to find a way to show them that I'm not a zombie, and that I'm not a threat to them.
