Ashley was 14, Carmen was 14, Brittany was 16 and Madison was 17. Ashley had red hair and green eyes wearing a crop top, holey jeans and Converse shoes with a Starbucks coffee in her hand. Carmen had black hair and blue eyes wearing a tank top, jeans and Adidas with her phone in her hand. Brittany had blonde hair and blue eyes wearing a frilly pink tank top, short shorts and thong sandals with a purse on her shoulder and her phone in her hand. Madison had brown hair and brown eyes wearing a tank crop top, short shorts and thong sandals with a purse on her shoulder and her phone in her right hand and her water bottle in her other hand. The girls all notice the money in Marcus' hand and whisper to each other before Brittany steps up to Marcus. And suddenly, Marcus found himself ushered to the side with the other girls, exaggeratedly cringing as he felt his new attire. "Are you okay, Brittany?" asked Carmen, looking at Marcus with concern. "I'm...I'm fine. Just feeling really uncomfortable right now" replied Marcus, wincing at his new female voice. Meanwhile, Madison placed sunglasses over his eyes, causing a whirlwind of emotions and memories to wash over him. He tried to resist, but the new sensations were too compelling. Slowly, he forgot about ever having been Marcus and started to mold into his new identity, Brittany. Seeing herself reflected in a mirror, she posed vivaciously, taking a selfie, her previous boyish self now a distant memory. She even lifted an appreciative eyebrow at her own daring pose. "You feeling better, Brittany?" Ashley asked, noticing a change in her friend's demeanor. "Oh much better. Thanks for asking. You're the best friends a girl can ask for," Brittany's voice echoed, striking a pang of finality. Subconsciously, she gripped her purse, the money inside a forgotten weight, and strutted off towards the beauty store. Brittany felt a degree of guilt as she strode away from Marcus, who was left standing bewildered and aimlessly reaching out to his former identity.
