Question: Formulate a better version of the response: My answer to the question What is the good life and how ought I to live it? is : I wish to live a happy life. Happy seems subjective, growing up I just wanted money, but now I've realised that mental health is far more important than money and instant gratification. I got academicaly well but really depressed and realised that I wont like my life with all worldly pleasures but not being happy on the inside, regret, remorse, trauma these can never make a person go back to being happy, atleast not completely. I just hope to live a life where I'm happy and satisfied, poor or rich now doesnt matter.

A more refined response to the question, "What is the good life and how ought I to live it?" might be: The pursuit of a fulfilling life involves prioritizing genuine happiness over external measures of success, such as wealth or material possessions. As I've grown, I've come to understand that a focus on mental well-being and emotional balance is far more valuable than short-term satisfaction and accumulation of worldly pleasures. Despite my academic achievements, I have experienced depression and realized that finding internal peace and contentment is the key to truly enjoying life. My goal is to cultivate happiness and satisfaction, regardless of my financial status or social standing.
