This anxiety began to manifest itself in nighttime accidents, much to Gohan’s surprise and mild embarrassment. Chi-Chi, Gohan's caring mother, noticed the telltale signs one morning when she went to wake him up. She found him sitting at the edge of his bed, a shy smile on his face despite the damp sheets. Chi-Chi understood immediately; being a mother, she had dealt with many such situations when Gohan was younger. She gently reassured him, "It's okay, Gohan. These things happen. You've been through a lot." Gohan nodded, his expression a mix of relief and understanding. "Thanks, Mom. I guess... I'm still a little stressed about everything that happened." Not long after, Chi-Chi and Goku sat down to discuss how they could make Gohan feel more secure. If it helps, I think it's a good idea.” Relieved by Gohan’s acceptance, Chi-Chi decided they’d make a trip to the supermarket together. It was important to include Gohan in the process so he could choose something he was comfortable with. So, later that afternoon, the family headed out, enjoying the sunshine and the peace that came with the absence of looming battles. At the supermarket, they wandered into the aisle with the baby products. Gohan looked around, curious and slightly nostalgic. He picked out a package with a playful design that reminded him of his younger years. Seeing the cheerful graphics on the package made the idea feel less daunting and more reassuring. Goku, typically unfamiliar with shopping for anything other than food, was amused and impressed by Gohan’s confidence. "You’ve got a good eye, Gohan!" he joked, ruffling his son's hair.
