Question: Write a POV transformation story of an average male human reader (about 6 feet tall) turning into a male gelfling (from The Dark Crystal franchise) castle guard from the Stonewood Clan, complete with instant clothes change, slight height regression, age change, supernatural powers gain (including but not limited to dreamfasting, dream space ability, and dream etching), reality change (the reader's real world warping and becoming an the world of The Dark Crystal, albeit in an alternate timeline where the skeksis were fully defeated and the gelflings remain widespread and thriving), and mind/mental change (with the reader's personality and memories replaced with a gelfling's personality and memories, despite his best efforts on fighting off the new memories and personality, making him completely forget about being a human and only remember being a gelfling). The transformation is permanent (meaning it is forever) and is completely irreversible. For the male gelfling reader's appearance (after the human reader turned into him), he is like other gelflings; having four-fingered hands (rather than five unlike his previous human self), slenderly built, and with wide, triangular face tapering to a pointed chin. He also has large, wide eyes that are set apart on either side of a flattish nose. He has long dark brown (almost black) hair, from which his large, pointed ears protrudes. He wears an outfit very much like the other castle guard gelflings. For his personality, he is comfortable in both a Landstrider saddle and a former-Skeksis carriage, and is a moderately skilled lute player. A skilled warrior, the gelfling reader favors swords and spears in battle, and is proficient enough to best skeksis in single combat. The story is that the reader was minding his own business, but then his reality started to change almost instantly, leaving him on the planet of Thra (more specifically, the Castle of the Crystal) rather than on Earth in his suburban home; albeit in an alternate Dark Crystal timeline where the skeksis have been truly defeated by the heroic gelflings, rather than the gelflings being almost extinct as in the main timeline. After all of that happened, his body and mind transformation occurs next. During the mental changes, the reader is truly terrified/horrified about losing his own memories and personality as a human, so he tries to fight against the new memories and personality (even screaming for help from his family/friends, crying out in tears, as well as attempting to shake his head as an attempt to get rid of the emerging/invading gelfling memories/personality), but his mental fight is in vain, making him completely forget his mundane human life and he only remembers being a gelfling (complete with a new name fitting for an gelfling, rather than an old human name he once remembered having) who lives in an alternate Dark Crystal timeline where gelflings remain widespread and successful. To aid in the now-gelfling reader's transforming mind, a beautiful female gelfling castle guard comes up to the reader and comforts him with a gentle hug, an affectionate kiss, and telling him to remember who he really is (a gelfling), making the reader realize that the gelfling woman comforting him is his caring, understanding, and loving wife (whom the gelfling reader truly loves, cares, and understands, having always known her), and the reader is genuinely happy to know that his previous human life was only a daydream (he is completely unaware of ever being a human) and is happy that his life as a gelfling (where he enjoys being with his gelfling wife) is his only true life. There should also be quotes from the characters in this story so we know what they're saying and what they're thinking. Not only that, but there should be quotes in elven language (as well as the translations for those who don't know what those elven words mean), even the reader's language shift during his panic. Also, it is a POV reader story, so it should not be in an author's point of view (my, I, mine, etc), and it should be from the point of view of the reader (you, your, etc).
You sit quietly in your suburban living room, leafing through a well-worn book—one of your favorites from the Dark Crystal franchise. The tales of the Gelflings and the magical world of Thra have always captivated your imagination. Yet, as engrossed as you are, a strange, almost tangible shift in the air causes you to pause. With a quick glance around, you see your familiar surroundings begin to blur and distort. It’s as though reality itself is warping around you, reshaping, reforming. "What the—?" you mutter, feeling a wave of dizziness wash over you. The edges of the room seem to dissolve, replaced by towering structures of stone and glimmering crystal. You suddenly find yourself standing in the midst of the Castle of the Crystal, the very heart of Thra. You instinctively know this place, despite it being drawn from fiction. You pinch yourself. “This… this can’t be real.” The moment your skin tingles, confirming the solidity of your surroundings, your confusion turns to alarm. "I must be dreaming!" you think, but the chill from the castle walls and whisper of air against your skin tell you otherwise. Your body feels strange—tingling, shifting. You glance down to find your clothes morphing, melding into the ornate armor of a castle guard. The ground seems closer, making you realize you’re shrinking. Your hands catch your eye next: your five-fingered hands begin to merge, leaving four slender fingers. Panic rises swiftly. "No, no, no!" you stammer, hoping your voice will call out to some semblance of sanity. Instead, you find your sounds morphing, words twisting into Elven language. “Na-quil, na-quil!" (Help, help!) Suddenly, your mind pulses with an onslaught of unfamiliar emotions and memories. Images of battling fearsome Skeksis, practicing with swords and spears, and riding Landstriders flash before your eyes. “These aren’t my memories!” you cry, trying to cling to the fragments of your former life. “I can't lose who I am. Please, someone help me!” Your pleas feel muted as new knowledge, skills, and someone else’s history floods in. Frantic, tears leak from your widening eyes. “Do not,” you struggle in English, “Do not take me away from myself!” Amid your anquish, you hear a gentle, soothing voice. You turn to see a beautiful female Gelfling approaching with kind, understanding eyes. She wraps her slender arms around you, comforting you in your distress. “Ma. Keth kasaur,” she whispers (Sweetheart, it is okay). She pulls back briefly, planting an affectionate kiss on your forehead. "Remember who you really are," she urges softly. "A Gelfling, my dear love." A powerful wave of emotion overtakes you. “A Gelfling. Yes.” With every whispered reassurance, the remnants of your human identity dissolve, replaced by your true self. Suddenly, you remember everything. You were always meant to stand in this castle, forever vigilant. The life of an Earth-born human was just a distant, fading daydream. You find your focus settle entirely on her—your loving Gelfling wife whose gentle presence and understanding eyes bring you immeasurable joy. Your eyes lock, and you recall her name and the love you share effortlessly. “Thra,” you breathe, eyes wide in awe. “I've always protected you. I've always—,” you pause, memories now unwavering in clarity. “I’ve always been Tharn, the castle guard.” You hold her tighter, knowing you’re right where you belong. Your mundane human life is but a forgotten echo. Tharfa, was your past. Your present and future lie with your kin and your loving wife, in this beautiful thriving world of Gelflings. Looking into her eyes, you allow yourself a smile. “Let's continue our patrol, shall me?” "Yes," she replies, love brimming in her voice, "My brave Tharn." And as you walk hand-in-hand through the crystal-laden corridors, your human past fades completely, leaving only the joy, love, and duty of your true Gelfling self.
