Smokey and the Bandit: On the Run revolves around Sheriff Buford T. Justice’s relentless pursuit of the bandit, Bo ‘Bandit’ Darville and his lady love, ‘Frog’ Casey. The Bandit and Frog are on a mission to deliver a truckload of illicit merchandise across the country while staying one step ahead of Sheriff Justice. With the help of their friends – Cledus “Snowman” Snow and Fred “Big Enos” Burdette – the Bandit and Frog must rely on their wits and luck to navigate the twists and turns of the open highway, a wild variety of towns, misadventures and a few unexpected detours along the way. Fate – and Sheriff Justice – are always hot on their heels and the Bandit and Frog have to prove themselves by outsmarting and outrunning the Law.
