The gang is gathered outside the Littlest Pet Shop, each chatting about their plans for the day.]* **Bev (excited):** Guys, we should totally try synchronized swimming in the fountain later! I’ve been practicing my “back-flipping-belly-board”! **Edie (flamboyant):** *Darling*, only if you promise I get to narrate! “And now, the spectacular Bev Gilturtle attempts the impossible...” **Trip (smirking, wheels spinning):** Or we could do something really wild, like... a prank contest! Who’s in? **Jade (deadpan):** Pranks? Yawn. I prefer a good nap prank. You know, someone thinks you’re awake, but you’re not. **Roxie (enthusiastic):** Oh! Oh! Can we go hiking? Or play fetch? Or do anything at all? I’m supercharged today! **Quincy (looking at a magazine):** If there’s snacks involved, I’m interested. **Trip:** Well, folks, today’s going to be... magical. *Wink, wink.* *[Trip winks at the camera. Fade to his house later—Trip is opening a package.]* **Trip (excited):** My “Do-It-Yourself Hypnosis Kit” finally arrived! *"Dramatic whoosh" music. And Quincy – you’ll crave adventure, like a mountain goat scaling Mount Everest! **Trip (snaps his paw):** There! All done. Wake up, everyone! *[The pets blink, and take a moment to focus.]* --- **ACT THREE** *[Jade immediately bounces up, sniffs Roxie’s tail, and starts barking.]* **Jade (barking excitedly):** Woof! You’re being so...adventurous? **Trip (snickers):** Roxie, wanna go play... *fetch*? *[Roxie instantly freezes mid-dash, paw in the air, huge grin still plastered on her face.]* **Jade (wagging her imaginary tail):** Ooh! Who wants to play tug-of-war? *Chases her own tail.* **Bev (as Edie):** Jade, darling, what’s gotten into you? Also, can someone help me… I feel the urge to—*starts spinning on her feathery butt.* **Edie (as Bev, speaking dramatically):** “And now… the world’s slowest bird… spiraling into OPERA!” *She glides slowly, humming an aria, but only manages a weak bubble.* **Trip (trying not to laugh):** Oh, you guys are hilarious! --- **ACT FOUR** *[The pranks escalate. Quincy attempts dangerous “goat” stunts—tightrope walking on a ledge, heroic leaps (barely clearing puddles). Jade digs “bones” in the sandbox, barking. Meanwhile, Edie and Bev fumble with each other’s “bodily instincts,” much to everyone else’s confusion.]* *[Sunset. The pranks have taken their toll.]* **Jade (panting, confused):** Um, why do I want to chase my own tail? This is… weird, even for me. **Bev (checking herself):** I swear I’m molt—er—shedding! Or am I a shell now? **Edie (fluttering her shell):** I can’t do my twirls with this heavy, fashion-unfriendly “accessory”! Oh, Bev... how do you *live* like this? **Roxie (still frozen).** **Trip (giggling, eating popcorn):** Oh, this is too good! I gotta do one more trick... *[Bev (as Edie) suddenly shakes off her confusion. She notices Trip’s laughter and the sparkly pendant sticking out of his satchel. She winks at the others, then whispers to Edie (as Bev) and Jade.]* **Bev (hushed):** Trip’s pranking us! Remember the hypnotizing?! We gotta get him back! --- **ACT FIVE: PAYBACK** *[They quickly explain. Edie (as Bev) snatches the pendant while Jade creates a distraction by pretending to “bewitch” Trip with her “canine stare.” Quincy's heroic stunts go haywire, drawing Trip’s attention.]* **Bev (grinning):** Trip, look at my... mesmerizing shell. *[Trip is too smug and doesn’t see the trick coming.]* **Edie (waving the pendant):** When I say “popcorn,” Trip, you’ll think you are a SLOTH! Slowest. Prankster. Ehh-ver. *[She swings the pendant.]* **Edie:** Popcorn! *[Trip's eyes glaze. He slumps, suddenly moving so slowly he almost tips over in slow motion, making exaggerated “sloth” faces.]* **Jade:** Fetch! (Freezes Roxie.) *Everyone giggles.* **Bev:** Tennis ball! *[Roxie instantly unfreezes and leaps into the air, shaking off the confusion.]* **Roxie:** What happened? Did I just blank out? Why is Trip moving like a sleepy garden gnome? **Jade (laughing):** Guess you could say the prank... SLOTHED out! *[Everyone laughs. When Trip finally snaps out of it, the pets hand him the “Hypno-Kit.”]* **Bev:** Next time, you prank us, Trip… we’re ready for ya! **Trip (smiling sheepishly):** Fair enough, guys. I guess I deserved that. But admit it! This was one weirdly awesome day. **Edie:** *As long as I don’t have to narrate my own misadventures in a turtle shell again, I’m good!* **Jade:** Anyone up for a good, old-fashioned nap? (winks) **ALL:** (*Cheering agreement*) *[The sun sets behind the Littlest Pet Shop, laughter and good-natured ribbing echoing through the park.]* **FADE OUT.** --- **END CREDITS.**
