LESSON PLAN CREATING Objective: Students will be able to create a lesson plan in order to effectively plan and structure their coursework. Materials: -Paper -Pens/Pencils -Computers (optional) Steps: 1. Explain to students the importance of creating lesson plans in order to effectively plan and structure their coursework. 2. Introduce the key elements of a lesson plan: -Objective/Goals -Materials -Instructions -Assessment 3. Have students brainstorm what objectives and materials they would need for a specific lesson. 4. Have students discuss the type of instruction that needs to be provided for each lesson. 5. Have students create a rough draft of their lesson plan. 6. Once their lesson plans are complete, have students review and edit their plans. 7. Have students share their lesson plans with the class and provide each other with feedback. 8. Have students submit the final version of their lesson plans. Assessment: Have students submit their lesson plans and provide feedback on each other's plans.
