I could feel my mind slipping away, drifting into something dark and cold, and I could feel my movements becoming robotic and monotonous. I could feel the rage that had once coursed through my veins turning into a kind of hunger, a desperate need to feed on whatever was unlucky enough to cross my path. Tails knew there was nothing he could do, and he watched as I stumbled away, leaving a trail of destruction in my wake. He wanted to remember me for the beautiful creature I once was, and not this terrible monster I had become, but he knew that my fate had been sealed. He watched as I disappeared from sight, and with a heavy heart he realized that this was the last time he would ever see me in my true form.
