He also developed a strong sense of justice and compassion, often standing up for the weak and oppressed at school. When he was sixteen, he received a letter from his father, who claimed to have found out about his mother's death and wanted to reconnect with him and his sister. Alejandro was furious and hurt, but Jocelyn convinced him to give their father a chance. They moved to New York with him, hoping for a fresh start. The accelerator blasted Alejandro with a surge of energy, mixed with a strength-enhancing chemical and a spider-DNA sample stored in the same room. Alejandro felt a searing pain in his body, as he collapsed to the floor. When he woke up, he realized that he had gained incredible powers. He could generate and manipulate green electricity and green fire, which he could shape into balls, fists, and beams. He could turn invisible and phase through solid objects. He was stronger than the Hulk and Scarlet Witch and his version of spider sense(power scenes) was quick enough to dodge Quicksilver. He could sense danger and stick to walls like Spider-Man. And he created web shooters. He uses the color of the webs to be neon green. He was amazed and horrified by his new abilities, which he decided to keep a secret from everyone He soon discovered that he was not the only one who had been affected by the accident. The mysterious figure who had followed him was Norman Osborn, the CEO of Oscorp, who had been experimenting on himself with a serum that enhanced his intelligence and aggression. He had also been exposed to the energy blast, which turned him into the Green Goblin, a mhe source of the blast and vowed to capture him and use his powers for his evil purposes. Alejandro decided to use his powers for good, and became a superhero named Torpedo, after the explosive device that his mother had given him as a gift when he was a child. He fought against the Green Goblin and other villains, such as Doctor Octopus, Venom, and Electro mourbius carnage mephisto, who had also emerged from Oscorp's experiments. He also joined forces with other heroes, such as Iron Man spideran, green goblin a maniacal supervillain who wanted to take over the world. He recognized Alejandro as the source of the bSpider-Man, and ms marvel and the Avengers and x-men, who welcomed him as one of their own. He became a legend in the superhero community, as he was able to defeat any enemy with his versatile and powerful abilities.
