Prompt: Gwendolyn "Gwen" Tennyson is an Anodite Plumber, Ben's paternal cousin and was a main member of his team until her departure with Kevin in The More Things Change: Part 1. Gwen had pale skin, bright green eyes and short red hair styled in a sleeked bixie cut with her bangs held by a blue hair clip and wore sapphire earrings, an elbow-length white and blue raglan shirt with a cat logo, white calf-length capri pants, and white sneakers with dark blue stripes without socks at age ten and a training bra and other underwear with a cup breast. . As a child, Gwen was portrayed as an intelligent, sassy and mature girl who displayed a stubborn, smart-mouthed side, especially when dealing with her cousin, Ben.[21] Her quick thinking and good instincts gave her an edge in dealing with dangerous situations, even without powers.[22] Although she generally acted with more maturity than Ben, she could occasionally be nearly as childish and disruptive as him, as she was shown to enjoy taking Ben down a peg.[23] She could also be pretty easily riled up, particularly if her cousins were involved.[21][10][24] However, she was consistently shown to be deeply caring and supportive, and strongly valued her family, even if she regularly bickered with them. While she initially acted in a supportive role to Ben alongside Max, over the course of the Original Series, Gwen started taking an interest being a hero herself, and eventually started learning magic.[25] Gwen is shown to be a gifted academic, and from a young age, she partook in multiple extracurricular activities to the point where she can be seen as an overachiever. For example, at age 10, she was part of her school's Jujutsu team and treasurer of its science club.[26] She is very organized and enjoys planning things out (having meticulously planned out her whole summer when she was 10),[21] and is shown to have aspirations for getting into good schools.[26][27] Her studious nature, irritability, and her sense of responsibility tend to lead her to be seen as uptight, or relegated as being the "responsible one", much to her chagrin.[10] Gwen was shown to be interested in technology, and often used her laptop to do research on the enemies the Tennysons came across during their road trip,[28] and continued acting as researcher for the team into her teens.[29][30] By her teens, Gwen has become even more mature, caring and sympathetic, and even somewhat soft-spoken. She is less easily annoyed by others, and her relationship with Ben has since become more mutually supportive and affectionate.[31] Gwen has grown to be forgiving and empathetic, even towards her enemies: if she believes they have changed for the better, or if they have the capacity of change. This is most evident with Kevin (who had tried to kill her on two occasions),[32][33] but also her archenemies, Hex and Charmcaster.[34][16] By this point, her interest and mastery over magic has only grown, applying her studiousness to gain considerable skill in it in just a few years, despite being entirely self-taught,[34] and has since become an important part of her identity.[19] Despite being more serious and reasonable than Ben and Kevin (often becoming their voice of reason for the both of them), Gwen is still somewhat hotheaded and can lose control of her manna if angered enough.[35] Additionally, Gwen still retains some of her irritable, sassy traits (though not nearly to the extent of her younger self), and she occasionally enjoys making fun of Ben and Kevin, especially if either of them are acting immaturely.[36][37] In spite of apparently maturity and improved relationship with Ben, Gwen still gets openly frustrated with him on occasion, and can get just as frustrated by her other cousins as well.[10][24] Although her intelligence and knowledge have only increased since her youth, Gwen is not completely free of her naivete, and at times can be arrogant. Gwen can occasionally be too trusting with people who want to exploit her good will, leading her or others into harm's way. For example, after P'Andor was released from his containment suit, she believed he would stop absorbing energy if he were taken back home. When she told him she had contacted the Plumbers to do so, he attacked her.[38] Gwen occasionally prioritizes things incorrectly, seen when she put more importance on Ben arriving to Julie's tennis match on time than stopping the Forever Knights' armed robbery of the Bellwood Museum of Natural History.[39] In the Original Series, Gwen went on a road trip with her grandfather Max and her cousin Ben. She and Ben constantly argued (like about Ben misusing the watch[3] or about Gwen's powers).[40] However, they were shown to deeply care for each other.[41] Gwen also showed deep affection for her grandfather. Gwen also used newspapers and her laptop to research any strange people and creatures they came across.[3] She was a capable gymnast and has had some training in martial arts.[pop-up 2][40] Gwen as Lucky Girl Gwen as Lucky Girl She was depicted as snobbish due to her young girl attitude. Overall, her most notable skill at this time was her innate, if latent, ability at magic. Having within her what Charmcaster called a "magical aura", Gwen was capable of using various magical artifacts, charms, talismans, and spells. When using the magical, luck-giving Charm of Bezel, she was able to activate it instinctively, whereas Hex could not. Later on, when she took and used his staff, she was able to make it fire a yellow-colored energy blast. According to Charmcaster, only someone of Hex's skill should have had that ability. Gwen casting a spell Gwen casting a spell Gwen started tapping into magical powers when she procured a small book of spells from Charmcaster in the episode A Change of Face. On two occasions, Gwen used the Charms of Bezel's incredible and unique powers and abilities to become a superhero by the name of "Lucky Girl". At first, her ability drew from the luck-granting, Charms of Bezel, which innately gave her perfect luck and the abilities and powers of probability manipulation. While wearing the charm, any action she took would result in a Rube Goldberg-style chain reaction benefiting her original intent, but usually injuring Ben in the process. She later brought back her superhero identity after obtaining the legendary Keystone of Bezel, which greatly strengthened and increased her natural abilities to superhuman levels rather than just affecting her luck. Both times, Gwen was forced to retire when the Charms of Bezel were destroyed. In Perfect Day, a superhero form was given to her by Ben as a form of petty torment while they were inside Ben's dream battling his imaginary bullies. In this form, she only exhibited the power of enhanced biting. Ben called her Ultra Rat. Gwen formed a rivalry with Charmcaster during the series. In Ben Again, Gwen was intrigued by the sudden increase in maturity of the 11-year-old Ben, whose mind had been switched with that of 16-year-old Ben. Eventually, she helped to defeat Eon and her memory was erased about the events of the episode except for a thing that 16-year-old Ben in 11-year-old Ben's body told her in a vague memory. In Mud is Thicker Than Water, she was constantly annoyed by Lucy messing with her and threatened Ben. In Evil's Encore and From Hedorium to Eternity she helped to defeat Dr. Animo and Zs'Skayr respectively. At this point, Gwen had become a black belt in karate but tended to favor using her powers. She was capable of creating manna constructs for nearly any purpose, usually creating platforms to levitate herself (and others),[42] beams to grab enemies,[31] circular blasts to knock enemies back, projecting beams from her eyes that seem to simulate heat vision[43] and opening up interdimensional portals.[44] During the course of the series, she developed a romantic relationship with Kevin. She stood up for Kevin when Ben questioned Kevin's loyalty.[45] They even almost kissed in the episode Darkstar Rising. In the episode Everybody Talks About the Weather, Kevin said she got her powers and abilities from her alien bloodline, but she refused to believe him. Little did she know that she would find out he was right in What Are Little Girls Made Of?. Gwen learning about her Anodite heritage Gwen learning about her Anodite heritage Her powers and abilities were revealed to be of alien descent; her paternal grandmother, Verdona, is an energy being known as an Anodite; from the distant planet Anodyne, and surprisingly, she seems to be the only human descendant who inherited Verdona's powers. Verdona told Gwen that what she and others originally thought of as magic was actually the control of manna, a substance of magic-making Anodites; a magic-wielding race. Verdona offered to take Gwen to her home planet and train her in the immense mystical and magical ways of the Anodites, but Gwen preferred to remain on Earth with her friends and family. She disliked being called an "energy being", referring to her Anodite heritage.[46] In Unearthed, an alien creature was able to see her as an Anodite, in which she looked exactly like her paternal grandmother's true form, but slightly shorter. In the episode Save the Last Dance, Gwen had a dance at her prep school and asked Kevin to take her. The episode ended with Gwen and Kevin dancing together in the moonlight. In the same episode, it was revealed by Ben that she likes yellow roses. Gwen in her Anodite form for the first time Gwen in her Anodite form for the first time In the two-part first season finale War of the Worlds: Part 1 and Part 2, when Kevin was threatened by the Highbreed Earth Commander, she released her dormant innermost Anodite self for the first time, and easily defeated the commander with an exceedingly strong powerful burst of pure magenta-pink glowing energy. She was almost overwhelmed by her own power and wanted to defeat the Highbreed all on her own before Kevin snapped her out of it by saying "I can't lose you". In the two-part second season premiere, Vengeance of Vilgax, Ben and Gwen seemed to have revived their infamous rivalry from the Original Series, in part due to Ben's cockiness and inflated ego. In the same episode, Gwen poured a smoothie over Ben's head, and he nearly returned the favor. Despite their rivalry, they both still had a strong bond, visible in the episode In Charm's Way, when Ben defended Gwen and informed Kevin that she had been spending all of her spare time trying to find a cure for Kevin's condition. In the episode Fool's Gold, Kevin appeared to be avoiding her because he was ashamed of his recent mutation due to accidentally absorbing a massive feedback pulse as a result of trying to hack the Omnitrix. She was unaffected by the blast because she put an energy shield around herself. Kevin gave her a locket of the two of them when he was in his human form, asking her to remember him as he was. Gwen said she didn't care what he looks like, and he replied "Maybe not. But I do." In The Final Battle: Part 2, Kevin returned to normal after the Omnitrix self-destructed. Gwen then kissed Kevin on the lips. She and Max crashed Vilgax's ship in the ocean while Ben and Kevin fought Vilgax. In Hit 'Em Where They Live, Zombozo and other villains, including Vulkanus and Charmcaster, teamed up to take revenge on the Tennysons and company, and kidnapped Ben's mother Sandra. Enraged, Gwen released her dormant, inner Anodite for the first time since War of the Worlds: Part 2. Whilst Zombozo trembled with fear, Gwen began to grow to a huge height, promising that if one of his teammates (or other notable villains) even bumped into their families on the street, she would come for them. Petrified, Zombozo screamed off-screen and Gwen saved Sandra. When Kevin asked what happened to Zombozo, she simply replied "We came to an understanding" whilst smiling. In the episode Hero Time, Gwen became very jealous when Jennifer Nocturne started flirting with Kevin after he saved her life from Captain Nemesis. Kevin also protected Jennifer a lot over the course of the episode. During her attempt to recover the first part of the Map of Infinity in the episode of the same name, she discovered it but was hit by a poison dart and ended up fainting, allowing Aggregor to catch the first fragment, but Kevin and Ben save her from near death. In Reflected Glory, Gwen was comprehensive with JT and Cash. Gwen had the idea to use a mirror against the R.E.Ds, and her powers apparently did not greatly affect the R.E.Ds. In Deep, the group went to the planet Piscciss to help Magister Pyke stop Aggregor. Gwen was caught by a squid-like creature, but Kevin revealed that he installed neuro-shock pulsers which could shoot lightning, allowing Gwen to get free. When they reached the nucleus of the planet Piscciss, an earthquake occurred. Gwen put an energy shield around them, but failed to protect Magister Pyke, so she stayed with him while Kevin and Ben went after the second part of the Map of Infinity. However, Aggregor arrived first and fled with the second part of the map after defeating Ben and Kevin. When the planet began to crumble, Ben as Goop saved the planet, re-constructing the lost water particles using Goop's Anti-Gravity Projector. At the end of the episode, Gwen consoled Kevin for having to leave the Blowfish in Piscciss. In Where the Magic Happens, Gwen relied on Charmcaster to help her, Ben and Kevin survive traveling through Legerdomain to find the next piece of the Map of Infinity, the Alpha Rune. Along the way, she learned of Charmcaster's background and came to sympathize with her nemesis. In The Forge of Creation, Gwen travelled with Ben and Kevin to stop Aggregor from absorbing a baby Celestialsapien's powers. Young Ben came along as Ben accidentally fell into the Chronal Randomization Barrier. Gwen, Kevin, and even Ben became annoyed with Young Ben. However, everyone eventually understood why Young Ben is so arrogant and cocky. He explained that, when dealing with the pressure and the danger that could kill somebody, he tends to joke around so he can be prepared to face anything. Unfortunately, everyone was easily defeated by Aggregor, who seemed to have won, but Kevin absorbed the immense energy of the Ultimatrix as a last resort, defeating him but becoming insane in the process. In ...Nor Iron Bars a Cage, Gwen and Ben travelled to Incarcecon to warn the warden about Kevin. The warden would have been killed if it were not for Gwen, (who saved him from crash landing using a much stronger version of the "Turbo" spell.) Ben implied Kevin needed to be "put down", which shocked Gwen. In The Enemy of My Enemy, Ben and Gwen were shown to be having difficulties. The two argued about Kevin while trying to locate a ship. On the way, they stumbled upon Argit, who needed a place to hide from Kevin. They travelled to the Plumbers' Academy in the Rustbucket 3, only to be attacked by Kevin. They barely succeeded in defeating him, and Gwen said she turned the air lock on to send Kevin falling because she understood he would kill them if he had the chance. After Argit preformed his orders, Kevin attacked the Plumbers' Academy. Ben used Ultimate Echo Echo to deal with the nuclear bomb, while Kevin relentlessly attacked Argit. Gwen begged him to stop and to give himself up, but he knocked her down. Gwen remained there crying as Kevin stated that she was only spared because of what she used to mean to him. Ben returned and the two had a conversation. Gwen said that they could still help Kevin, Ben replied that they cannot. In Absolute Power, Gwen was more determined than ever to save Kevin. Ben disagreed with Gwen, opting to kill him now rather than a last resort. Gwen went to Max, hoping he would disagree about killing Kevin, but her grandfather confirmed that killing Kevin was the right decision. He also told Gwen that if she disagreed, she should leave Ben to do it and not get in the way. Gwen left, disappointed and angry, ready to take desperate measures as she went to Michael Morningstar for help. Meanwhile, Ben went off looking for Kevin, who was relentlessly going after anyone he thought had betrayed him. Gwen stopped Ben from harming Vulkanus, accompanied by Michael. Ben was infuriated by Gwen's alliance, but she made a deal with Ben, saying that if her plan did not work, she would not bother him anymore. Gwen also admitted that she promised Michael enough manna in return for his help that would keep him at full strength and power for one year, furthering Ben's anger toward her. Gwen tries to reason with Ultimate Kevin Gwen tries to reason with Ultimate Kevin Michael explained that he saved a part of the Dominus Librium, which could be used to turn Kevin back to normal. However, the machines and energy required to power it was only available at Los Soledad. In order to lead Kevin there, they needed bait. Gwen suggested herself. Gwen went to Total Zone and confronted Kevin. He admitted that he had been avoiding her so he would not absorb her energy, which he was desperately hungry for. They fought intensely, and Gwen tried talking some sense into Kevin. Unfortunately, this didn't work, and Kevin grabbed a hold of Gwen and absorbed both her magical and Anodite powers, making her scream in pain. Gwen retaliated with a blast and escaped. Michael and Ben travelled with Gwen in the Rustbucket 3 to Los Soledad, where Michael trapped Cooper to create a machine that could operate the Dominus Librium. Kevin went to Gwen's house in search of more manna but found Max. Another fight occurred, and just as Kevin was about to kill Max, Harvey, Kevin's stepfather, stopped him. Ben appeared after Kevin and Harvey's altercation and fought Kevin, yet again. They destroyed the Rustbucket 2, at which point Gwen came out of her house. Kevin managed to disable Ben long enough so he could chase after Gwen. After a long chase, Ben returned and fought Kevin once again. Kevin defeated Ben, but little did he know that was all part of the plan. Gwen called Cooper to tell him that Kevin would be there soon. Cooper tried to stall Kevin by using the weapons available at the military base, but Kevin dodged the missiles and approached the base. Kevin and Ben fought, with Ben no longer holding back. In anger, he almost killed Kevin, but Gwen stopped him, as they could still bring him back. They finally set Kevin to the machine, and Kevin was healed from his third mutation. Gwen with her best friend, Emily Gwen with her best friend, Emily In It's Not Easy Being Gwen, it was revealed that Gwen takes her education very seriously. She was shown to come home late at all hours of the night and wakes up at 5:30 AM. She is involved in many activities, such as jogging, French, and after school karate classes. After the events of Ultimate Alien, a 16-year-old Gwen was seen with Ben and Kevin chasing Zombozo through Bellwood. Shortly after fighting and capturing Zombozo, Gwen said her goodbyes to Ben because she was heading to college. She then told Ben to stay out of trouble and got into the car with Kevin (who also revealed that he was going to stay near campus), then the two drove off, leaving Ben to deal with Zombozo. Sometime later, she made the decision to take up the mantle of Lucky Girl again.[MW 2] In Many Happy Returns, Gwen returned with Kevin to visit Bellwood for the week. She returned with an all-new look. They marked their return by saving Ben as Rath from a burning building when he was trying to save a toy. The next day, they go for smoothies, only to be attacked by Princess Looma Red Wind and Kevin revealing that he was forced to marry her in order to get the engine block he needed for his ship, and later his car. After battling Looma again, Gwen showed her new Anodite form/Lucky Girl to try to finish it, but Looma's father intruded by forcing Kevin to marry her. Ben defeated Looma, but he later found out it just made him Looma's fiancée. Kevin awkwardly left, not telling Ben he just came to Bellwood to "pawn" Looma on him. Gwen assured Ben that she would make frowning faces on the ride back and the two rode off. Gwen returned in Showdown: Part 2 where it was revealed that Max used her to track Ben's location through his manna. She also went along with Azmuth and Rook to the remains of Galvan B to find clues to solve the problem involving reviving the Galvanic Mechamorphs and defeating Malware. Gwen was seen again after Malware is defeated and was surprised that Kevin knew that Khyber's former dog is a girl. Gwen then flew back home along with Ben, Rook, Kevin, and Max. Gwen was seen again in The Frogs of War: Part 2 where she, along with Rook, Kevin, and Argit gathered supplies and weapons to fight against the invading Incurseans. However, they nearly got blasted by some Incurseans and escaped outside, avoiding the Way Bads. They eventually reached Ignacius Baumann's shop and Gwen and the others entered the back. Gwen broke up an argument between Rook and Kevin and suggested breaking Max out of Plumber Headquarters. As she and the other prepared to do so, they were stopped by General Attea and a bunch of Incurseans. However, an alien by the name of Bullfrag fought the Incurseans and led them to a ship. Bullfrag got knocked out and tied up by Kevin, who demanded an answer. Gwen then looked into Bullfrag's eyes and told Blukic to let him go. The group eventually reached Plumber Headquarters and they freed Driba and Max. Bullfrag went up to him saying "Grandpa", revealing to be actually Ben but Attea soon appeared behind them. Kevin was surprised and Gwen told him that no one else would come up with a name like "Bullfrag". Gwen then blasted Attea, becoming annoyed with the flirting. Gwen then heard the story on how Ben survived in space and unlocked Bullfrag. Gwen was seen again after the capture of Milleous but soon knew that Attea was playing them the entire time. Gwen and the others were forced to watch Attea leave with the entire Incursean army as if anything hadn't happened. As Ben said that he wanted a smoothy if a Way Bad hadn't destroyed all of them, Gwen remarked "Ben Tennyson is back". Gwen returned from college in Mud is Thicker Than Water. She visited Ben at the Plumber Headquarters while Rook and Kevin headed off to an auto-show, only to find out that her cousin, Lucy Mann, had become a Plumber. They realized that their Plumber technology was stolen by a spy. She and Ben then saved the power core from exploding, which was used as a distraction so that the spy could steal their Plumber tanks. She suspected that Lucy was the spy as she arrived since the threat started. The Plumbers decided to move all the tech off the planet, starting with the Annihilarrgh, which Blukic and Driba had fixed. Psyphon's Gang then attacked the Plumber ship and took the Annihilarrgh. Gorvan was then revealed to be the spy among the Plumbers. Suddenly, the Plumbers arrived to take on Psyphon and his gang. Psyphon was shocked and he blamed Gorvan for telling the Plumbers their location, but Lucy, disguised as Liam, revealed herself as the one who told them their location, making Psyphon even angrier. Gorvan tried to escape with the Annihilarrgh, only to be stopped by Gwen using the judo techniques she learned for nine years. Psyphon and his gang were stopped by Ben as Crashhopper. Suddenly, Vilgax arrived, scaring Psyphon, only for Vilgax to be revealed as Lucy in disguise. Psyphon was then defeated by Lucy in her Lenopan form and Crashhopper. Gwen threw the Annihilarrgh at Ben. It was revealed that it was a fake one to use as bait to stop the threat. Back at Plumber Headquarters, Gwen apologized to Lucy for suspecting her but Lucy did not mind at all, and the two of them started talking in the end. Gwen, Kevin and Zed were seen in the Rustbucket 3 in For a Few Brains More. They helped Ben, Rook and Max, but Gwen failed to save the Proto-TRUK, which ended up being damaged with Max and Rook passing out. Khyber and his Panuncian attacked Kevin and Zed. Gwen helped Rook and Max up, with Azmuth removing her spectacles. Albedo as Ultimate Gravattack took Azmuth's brain from Ben as Gwen trapped Khyber using a few planks. Ben transformed into Pesky Dust to get information from Khyber about Albedo's location in his dream. Gwen's shield broke from Khyber's Panuncian and Rook shot at it. Gwen trapped it as Kevin removed the Nemetrix with the help of Ben as Waterhazard. The team headed off to Billions Tower to confront Albedo. Gwen shot manna at Albedo but her attacks got reflected and she was knocked out. The team was then trapped by Albedo's power. Azmuth transformed Ben into Bloxx and freed the team. Albedo transformed into Ultimate Humungousaur and hit Ben. Azmuth transformed Ben into a new alien, Atomix, who easily took out Ultimate Humungousaur. He hit Gwen and the rest of the team up to high altitudes as he finished Albedo, who transformed into Ultimate Spidermonkey, with a blast. Azmuth received his brain back as Albedo turned into a copy of 11-year old Ben, altered by Azmuth. Gwen as Lucky Girl Gwen as Lucky Girl Gwen made an appearance in Mystery, Incorporeal, in which Ben and Rook visited Friedkin University. She, Kevin and Zed eventually helped Ben to fight a Rock Monster, and to investigate who was behind the attacks of the monsters. Once the team found out that it was Darkstar's doing, Ben, Rook, Kevin, and Zed fought many obstacles, including a fully-powered Morningstar who had absorbed Gwen's powers. The team eventually stopped him and saved Gwen with the help of Ben as Ghostfreak. Soon, Ben saved the day and Gwen obtained her first mystical Charm of Bezel, also providing the ability to telekinetically fly at high speeds. For saving the day, Ben was given an honorary degree and he and Rook left for Bellwood. In Charmed, I'm Sure, although Gwen did not make an on-screen appearance, Rook texted her throughout the episode. Rook mentioned that they talk a lot, and she told him all about Charmcaster. She helped Rook on Ben's poor skin condition, as well as to carry magical supplies such as her spellbook to try and cure Ben's skin and defeat Charmcaster. Ben thought that Gwen was trying to do something bad, but Rook disagreed. However, most of the spells Gwen asked Rook to try did not work as Rook was not in close proximity to the Alpha Rune until the end where Charmcaster held possession of it. In the end, Gwen told him that it was due to Swampfire's growth into its new form that caused Ben's poor skin condition. Gwen made an appearance in the two-part episode Weapon XI: Part 1 and Weapon XI: Part 2 where she received a coded message from Kevin. She, along with Rook and Ben then set off to find the Amalgam Kids. Then, together with Argit and Zed, the team set off to find Kevin and take on the Rooters in the Null Void. Servantis then turned the Amalgam kids and Kevin against Ben, forcing Gwen, Rook, Ben and Zed to take them on. Gwen and Rook took on Swift and Leander who defended the Null Void Projector after escaping from the Way Bads while Ben went into Rooter Headquarters to take on Kevin, who absorbed his Omnitrix and mutated for the fifth time. Gwen was knocked out by Swift. Fortunately, Rook immediately saved her from the exploding generator of the Null Void Projector which Swift and Leander attacked. Gwen then wondered how they would get out while Ben, as Swampfire still struggled with Kevin's attacks, eventually passing out. Kevin then surprised Servantis and shocked the Amalgam kids by knocking out his Loyalty Neuro-Matrix and was locked out of their heads for good. Gwen, Rook and Zed arrived and were glad Kevin did not turn insane, thanks to the first brain spark from Servantis. The Plumbers then arrived with the Magistrata, having the Rooters' Plumber status revoked and their Plumber tech confiscated, leaving them stranded in the Null Void with the Way Bads. Gwen was then seen talking to Kevin about the letter containing his coded message as Ben was eager to eat, wishing the Rooters luck when facing the Way Bads. Gwen in Hex's class Gwen in Hex's class Gwen appeared in Charm School, where she was attending class conducted by her favorite teacher Hex. Later, she called Ben and Rook over to her school on the case. Ben attacked Hex, but Gwen explained to him that Hex is a good guy now, proven by using her magic spell that confirmed that all the students were not influenced or brainwashed by Hex, that he was completely normal. She then faced Charmcaster, who has turned Hex into a Stone totem and obtained his staff. As Lucky Girl, Gwen gave everything she got in the face off with Charmcaster, but none of her spells and attacks worked on her. She then casted a spell to clone herself as a distraction so that she could grab Hex's stone totem. Together with Ben as Ghostfreak, Kevin, Rook and Zed, they led Charmcaster into Hex's library in the school as Gwen had a plan in mind. When Charmcaster reached the library, Gwen blasted her and Charmcaster assumed she was about to give up, but because Gwen was holding onto Hex's stone totem, it gave her access to his library and all the magical powers, making her even more powerful. At some point after, Albedo asked Azmuth for an Omnitrix for himself, as he didn't trust "a mere human", though his request was denied, as Azmuth stated that there could be only one Omnitrix in the universe. Albedo then used his knowledge of the project to build a copy, and set it to match Ben's. However, when doing so, he didn't know that Ben's DNA would become the default, causing him to become permanently stuck as an exact clone of Ben. These actions would ultimately lead Azmuth to fire him, though Albedo claims he quit.[9] Alien Force Omnitrix Bio-Feedback Omnitrix Bio-Feedback Disgusted by what had happened to him, Albedo traveled to Earth to get the Omnitrix from Ben in Good Copy, Bad Copy, planning on using it to restore his original form. During his search for Ben, in at least three days, he savagely attacked at least three Forever Knight castles and a DNAlien hive, for the purpose of interrogation to discover Ben's whereabouts, causing the Knights to believe Ben Tennyson was attacking them for no reason and attracting Gwen's and Kevin's attention. When Albedo and Ben eventually met during Albedo's siege at another castle, Albedo pretended to be the creator of the Omnitrix, accusing Azmuth of being a liar, and asked Ben to hand it over. When Ben became suspicious and refused (after Kevin made him notice the twitch on his left eye each time he lied, which Ben has as well), Albedo transformed and attacked him in order to take his Omnitrix by force. After battling him twice, their Omnitrixes locked on with each other, almost causing feedback that could have destroyed the whole galaxy. During the process, Albedo's human form was damaged, resulting in him becoming a negative mirror of Ben. Azmuth then arrived and took off Albedo's Omnitrix's core, trapping him in his human form and sending him to an alien prison. Blaming Azmuth and Ben for his condition, Albedo swore to get revenge on them. Albedo with the Albedo with the Ultimatrix In The Final Battle, Albedo escaped from prison with the help of Vilgax, and stole the Ultimatrix, an incomplete model of the Omnitrix, from Azmuth. Using pieces from his broken Omnitrix, he successfully completed the Ultimatrix and tried to use it in order to transform back to his Galvan form. However, the Ultimatrix was still linked to Ben's Omnitrix, leaving him trapped in his form. Vilgax then offered him an alliance, promising he would let him get Ben's Omnitrix. Though not really trusting him, Albedo accepted and helped him by kidnapping Gwen and Kevin. Despite the alliance being a success, Vilgax quickly double-crossed Albedo and made him his prisoner, using an army of thousands of Humungousaurs against him which defeated Albedo. After the Omnitrix was destroyed, Ben freed Albedo and forced him to hand over the Ultimatrix by triggering the self-destruct command. Though the ship then crashed into one of Earth's oceans, Albedo had escaped. Advertisement Ultimate Alien When Kevin and Gwen put in the Ultimatrix Security keys for Alien X's transformation in The Forge of Creation, Ben stated they did it so Albedo wouldn't get access to it if he took the Ultimatrix back or if there was a duplicate or otherwise, something similar in sync to it. Albedo with his actors Albedo with his actors Albedo returned in Double or Nothing; ever since Vilgax's ship blew up, Albedo was "broke and stranded" and had created his own live action show, 'Ben 10: Live', where Albedo played the role of Ben, and three of Ben's top most popular aliens, Swampfire, Humungousaur, and Big Chill, are played by three actors with fake Ultimatrix symbols: A Methanosian named Swamps, a Vaxasaurian named Hugh, and a Necrofriggian named Fridge. After Albedo set a soundwave-bomb on the ground, Ben told Kevin and Gwen to 'deal with the bomb', while he went after Albedo. Albedo supposedly 'turned into' aliens, which were really just the real aliens replacing him before Ben saw the switch. When Ben battled all three of them, he told them that he knew they weren't Albedo. After talking to Albedo, telling him to never again do Ben 10: Live, Albedo stated that he wouldn't. They were about to leave, but Hugh arrived and lied to the team, saying Albedo was making a doomsday bomb that would make everyone on Earth into a copy of Ben. They went to stop him at an old warehouse and saw Albedo wearing a large Omnitrix symbol on his chest, which Hugh said was going to protect him from the blast. Gwen questioned why Albedo would wear it if he already looked like Ben, but Ben cut her off and used NRG to blow a hole in the wall. Albedo then yelled at the other aliens to keep them away. NRG defeated Swamps, and Gwen and Kevin defeated Fridge. Then, Hugh tried to defeat NRG, feigning he was on Albedo's side. Ultimate Spidermonkey went after Albedo, only to be reverted by the field surrounding Albedo. In their human forms, Albedo overpowered Ben and tried to worked on the "bomb", only for Ben to interfere again and cause the whole theater to suddenly blow up. Albedo transformed back into his Galvan form, revealing that the machine wasn't a doomsday bomb, but rather a device to return him to a Galvan as well as making him able to alter his DNA at will, which he was able to afford to build with his performances. Restored to his Galvan form, he told Ben, who was expecting a fight with Albedo's new powers, there was no point in continuing their feud anymore, planning to get off Earth and never encounter Ben ever again. Unfortunately, he transformed back into Ben and found out, due to the Ultimatrix interrupting the device's alteration field, he would inevitably turn back into his human form. Albedo's Galvan form (Ultimate Alien) Albedo's Galvan form (Ultimate Alien) Hugh tried to take the blame and explained why he sabotaged Albedo's plan, but Albedo didn't blame him and instead furiously blamed Ben. Albedo then transformed into Negative Rath, and battled Echo Echo. When Negative Rath pinned Echo Echo down, Echo Echo went Ultimate Echo Echo and sent sound wave discs at Negative Rath. This caused Negative Rath to transform back to human and faint. Ben relinquished Albedo to the alien trio, but warned he wouldn't be happy when he woke up. Albedo's nightmare Albedo's nightmare Albedo returned in Night of the Living Nightmare, where he attempted to infect Ben with a Cassiopeian Dream Eater, trapping him into a dream world where he kept being attacked by several of his enemies. Eventually, when Albedo entered the dream posing as Kevin and Gwen in an attempt to take the Ultimatrix, Ben figured out it was him from his friends stating he didn't deserve to bear the Ultimatrix and pursued him to Mr. Smoothy's. As Ben started taking over the dream world and overpowered Negative Big Chill and NRG in human form, Albedo attempted to put back the Dream Eater, only to slip on a spilled smoothie and accidentally end up being the one infected. In the real world, it was revealed that Ben was never infected with the nightmare-inducing parasite. Albedo attempted to, but was dangerously unprepared for how messy Ben's room was, which resulted in him dropping the bug on his own face when he inadvertently slipped on a spilled smoothie, thus replaying the same thing that happened in Albedo's nightmare. While they called a Galvan doctor in order to properly remove the Dream Eater, Albedo was seen inside the dream world, being confronted by a group of the Ultimatrix aliens and fearfully begged them to not to hurt him as they came near. After getting it removed, he was imprisoned in the Plumbers HQ holding cells. Advertisement Omniverse Albedo with the Albedo with the new Ultimatrix Albedo reappeared in the present day in The Ultimate Heist. In it, he had been impersonating Ben for several days, after he and Khyber secretly switched his and Ben's places. Albedo did not use his alien transformations, due to the fact that the red eyes would give him away to Ben's allies. Even though his ruse was discovered and Ben escaped, Albedo managed to get what he needed from Thirteen. The devices that he took would not only stabilize his transformations, allowing him to remain in them for as long as he wants, but allow him to once again access the Ultimate Forms, including his own, Ultimate Albedo. In A Fistful of Brains, Albedo tricked Ben into entering Khyber's disguised ship, capturing him and taking him to Khyber's private hunting area. Beforehand, Albedo had left toenail clippings and hair on several planets, in order to fool anyone who tried tracking Ben by his DNA. Albedo in his Ultimate form Albedo in his Ultimate form Ben managed to escape Khyber and confronted Albedo. When Ben pointed out that Albedo had what he wanted, which was the power to return to his true Galvan form, Albedo informed him that he wanted revenge for his humiliation and imprisonment. Ben managed to overcome Ultimate Albedo, only for Ultimate Albedo to declare that Ben hadn't really won. Khyber then revealed that he had captured Azmuth. In For a Few Brains More, Ultimate Albedo intended to use the device he imprisoned Azmuth in, a Cerebral Vortex, to drain Azmuth's intellect, and add it to his brainpower. Despite managing to drain Azmuth's intelligence into an orb form, Ben and company managed to free Azmuth and his intellect; however, after a lengthy battle, which culminated on Earth, Ultimate Albedo managed to escape to Billions Tower, and used its lab to construct another Cerebral Vortex and added Azmuth's intellect to his own, easily subduing them. However, the combined brainpower led to Ultimate Albedo having an epiphany, realizing that destroying them was worthless, as they would still exist somewhere in the omniverse. This distraction allowed Ben to reverse the procedure, taking away Ultimate Albedo's stolen brainpower. Negative Ultimate Spidermonkey defeated by Atomix Negative Ultimate Spidermonkey defeated by Atomix Angered, Ultimate Albedo transformed into Negative Ultimate Humungousaur and began attacking Ben as Bloxx, and pummeling him until he transformed back into normal and Azmuth hit the dial, transforming Ben into a new alien, Atomix, who was easily able to beat Negative Ultimate Humungousaur and Negative Ultimate Spidermonkey. After having his intellect restored, Azmuth punished Albedo by reconfiguring his Ultimatrix to not only keep him as a clone of Ben, but as a clone of the 11-year-old Ben Tennyson. Mortified at this, Albedo cried. Albedo originally had an Omnitrix he had built himself, giving him access to all of Ben's unlocked alien forms. However, his Omnitrix was of low quality and only worked by syncing data from Ben's Omnitrix, inadvertently causing him to assume Ben's form as it was the default. This Omnitrix was destroyed by Azmuth at the end of Good Copy, Bad Copy. In The Final Battle, Albedo used the Ultimatrix, a new version of the Omnitrix semi-completed by Azmuth and modified by himself. Unfortunately, at the time it was connected to the same database as the Omnitrix, meaning Ben was still the default unless he could reset the Ultimatrix through the Omnitrix. The Ultimatrix was later taken from him by Ben.[3] In Omniverse, Albedo creates a new Ultimatrix, which is a stabilizer created with the goal of stabilizing his transformations, as well as giving him access to his Galvan form and the Ultimate forms. It is eventually disabled by Azmuth.[10] Benjamin Kirby "Ben" Tennyson[37][pop-up 2][DVD 1] is the titular main protagonist of the Ben 10 franchise. He was an ordinary 10-year-old boy until he found the Omnitrix, a powerful watch-like device that allowed him to turn into 10 different aliens. Though initially immature and clumsy, Ben grew to be a true hero. By the time he was 16, he had become famous in not only his hometown of Bellwood but on Earth and beyond. Ben has also been deputized by the Plumbers and has gained more aliens as time progressed. Azmuth is the creator of numerous inventions, most notably the Omnitrix. He is a Galvan from the planet Galvan Prime. Azmuth's scientific creations and achievements have made him a very respected scientist throughout the universe. Regular Appearances Azmuth is an elderly Galvan. He resembles an anthropomorphic grey frog, with gills and sticky skin. He has bulbous eyes with rectangular black pupils and eyelids that open and close horizontally. Four thin tendrils grow out of his lower jaw, while two longer ones grow out of his upper jaw, giving him the appearance of having a beard. In the flashbacks in Solitary Alignment, the tendrils on his upper jaw were shorter and he only had two tendrils growing out of his lower jaw. He also wore a shorter tunic that stopped at his legs. In the Original Series, Azmuth wore a dark green jumpsuit, with a lighter green hourglass symbol on his chest. Bronze colored platings covered the base of his neck, shoulders and wrists. A belt of the same color surrounded his waist and he had yellowish-green eyes. In Alien Force and Ultimate Alien, Azmuth wore a green Galvan tunic with black sleeves and a black stripe running down his chest and abdomen with a black belt surrounding his waist. The platings were colored silver and covered more of his neck, shoulders and wrists, as well as his legs and feet, leaving his toes exposed. His eyes were light green and also appeared smaller, as if squinting in a human manner. In Omniverse, Azmuth now possesses two additional tendrils on each side of his head, as well as two liver spots on the right side of his face and two more above his right eye. The skin around his eyes is now colored black, his facial tendrils and neck are slightly longer and the black belt around his waist is replaced by silver plating. Occasional Appearances In Primus, Azmuth briefly wore the Omnitrix around his body. In a flashback in Trouble Helix, as well as The Frogs of War: Part 2, Azmuth wore a green spacesuit. In For a Few Brains More, Azmuth temporarily wore Gwen's glasses. In the Original Series, Azmuth was very paranoid, as evidenced by the amount of work he put into hiding his home from the rest of the universe. He was a bit impolite. He originally refused to repair the Omnitrix and was willing to let the universe get destroyed.[2] Azmuth was also very pessimistic, unwilling to shut down the Omnitrix's self-destruct at first, even though it would have caused the destruction of the universe. The reason why is that he simply didn't think the universe was worth saving. The reason he invented the Omnitrix was so the beings of the universe would have a better understanding of each other, but those like Vilgax only wanted to use it as a weapon of war.[2] As of Alien Force, Azmuth has become less pessimistic and more serious, showing a no-nonsense personality. This was especially apparent when dealing with a disaster of intergalactic proportions, or when the universe or galaxy is being threatened.[6][3][7] He is also concerned about the safety of the universe and his planet, Galvan Prime. This was seen when he got angry at Ben for losing the Omnitrix to "the most dangerous being in the universe",[8] as well as not being able to retrieve the pieces of the Map of Infinity.[9] He also spent considerable time mixing into the Galvan society as well as developing the complete defense system of Galvan Mark II.[10] As of Omniverse, Azmuth is more level-headed, as he appears to be more confident and is slightly more lenient than before. He also seems to have developed a slight sense of humor, as he reset Albedo's Ultimatrix to permanently lock his default form to be an 11-year-old version of Ben.[11] Without his primary brain, Azmuth was prone to infantile behavior such as randomly pressing buttons, burping, and blowing raspberries, and incessant talking (notably speaking simply gibberish in many scenes), though he could still occasionally talk in a cohesive manner.[11] History Background As a tadpole, Azmuth achieved a perfect score on his G.A.T.s, an early display of his genius intellect before he became the First Thinker.[10] Young Azmuth creating Ascalon Young Azmuth creating Ascalon In his youth, Azmuth enjoyed a relationship with a female Galvan named Zennith, and while on a date with her, witnessed a planetary alignment. The sight inspired Azmuth to create a powerful sword, which brought his romance with Zennith to an end as she disapproved of his creation. Later realizing for himself the dangers of the sword, Azmuth began to dedicate himself to peaceful science, eventually creating the Omnitrix, hoping to create a means for the races of the galaxy to live in harmony. He used the Omnitrix's Collect Mode to gather the DNA of thousands of species over hundreds of years.[pop-up 1][12] He also hoped that it might redeem him in Zennith's eyes.[1] In Trouble Helix, Azmuth appeared in a flashback, where it was revealed that he was involved in Galvan B's transformation and the creation of the Galvanic Mechamorphs. In Blukic and Driba Go to Area 51, Azmuth appeared in a flashback, having created the Galvanian Skeuomorph to destroy B.L.R.R.T.. Azmuth had observed all of Ben's activities through secret devices on the Omnitrix well before he met him.[pop-up 2][2][pop-up 3][DVD 1] Advertisement Ben 10 Azmuth in his biosuit Azmuth in his biosuit In Ben 10: Secret of the Omnitrix, Azmuth was found in his lab on Xenon by Cannonbolt, Tetrax, and Myaxx, where he was eventually convinced to turn off the Omnitrix's self-destruct. He also unlocked Way Big so Ben could defeat Vilgax. Azmuth modified one of Vilgax's Mechadroid's heads to leave Xenon in it, taking Myaxx with him. When Ben asked Azmuth if he wished to take back the Omnitrix since it was his creation, Azmuth refused to take it back and let Ben keep it because he considered it trouble. After meeting Ben, Azmuth decided to become more involved and eventually connected with the space-based Plumbers.[pop-up 4][2] Ben 10: Destroy All Aliens revealed that Azmuth, inspired by Ben's obvious concern for his family, decided to reunite with his own after a long absence. After detecting a strange signal coming from the Omnitrix (caused by Gwen casting a dismantling spell on Upgrade), he contacted Tetrax and arranged to meet the Petrosapien on Earth. Traveling to Earth using his Mechadroid-head ship, Azmuth disguised it as a semi-truck and headed for his rendezvous with Tetrax. He was then contacted by his concerned father, who watched as a strange light coming from the malfunctioning Omnitrix shone over Azmuth and his ship crashed. When a malevolent looking To'kustar appeared on the video feed following Azmuth's disappearance, his father came to believe that Azmuth had perished at the hands of the giant alien. Donning the Mechamorph Armor created by Azmuth, his father traveled to Earth, where he ran into Ben. At first unaware that Ben was transforming between different alien forms, unable to revert to human due to Tetrax activating a feature of the Omnitrix. He demanded to know the whereabouts of the To'kustar. Ben had fought the giant alien only for it to disappear. They would later discover that the being had been downloaded into the Omnitrix. Following the To'kustar's escape from the Omnitrix, the Tennyson family realized that the giant being was Azmuth himself, mutated by the malfunctioning device and so disturbed by the change that he was unable to recognize his own father or friends. Eventually, they brought him out of it, and Azmuth used the Mechamorph armor to repair the Omnitrix and revert himself back into his normal Galvan form. Azmuth's father then revealed his own Galvan form, which was younger than that of his son. This was due to Azmuth transferring his father's mind into a clone body.[DJW 1] Father and son forgave each other for their misdeeds, with Azmuth confessing that he should have warned his father about the armor's tendency to increase aggression. Azmuth also helped restore Ben's parents, who had likewise been transformed into aliens, to normal. He commented on the Omnitrix's malfunction being caused by a manna overload, confusing Gwen, who was ignorant at the time about her Anodite lineage. Azmuth and his father then returned home. Advertisement Five Years Prior to Omniverse In a flashback in Trouble Helix, Azmuth was working on a second Helix with Albedo, when Max came in, asking him to fix the malfunctioning Omnitrix, to which he refused. XLR8 came in and broke one of Azmuth's machines, prompting him to fix the malfunction. Azmuth later revealed his hand in the creation of the Galvanic Mechamorphs through his experiment called the Helix, in the intent of making Galvan B habitable. He also revealed he had been working for many years on trying to heal Malware, a Galvanic Mechamorph whose life code was corrupted and incomplete. In a flashback in Showdown: Part 1, Azmuth warned Ben to not overuse Feedback, but Ben did not heed his warning and Feedback was lost from the Omnitrix after a battle with Malware. During a flashback in Showdown: Part 2, Azmuth helped comfort and advise Ben, after Ben lost Feedback. Alien Force Azmuth teleporting Azmuth teleporting Azmuth returned in Good Copy, Bad Copy, where he revealed to the team that Albedo used to be one of his assistants. He took the core from Albedo's Omnitrix and teleported him to an alien prison. In War of the Worlds: Part 1, Azmuth and Professor Paradox warned Ben that the Highbreed were destroying planets, and their fleet was heading towards Earth. Galvan Prime had already been destroyed and its destruction would be the beginning of the end. Although he didn't want Ben to fight, Azmuth realized that there would be no stopping him and activated the Master Control. for the sake of the battle. Azmuth participated in the battle against the DNAliens and chastized Ben for using the Omnitrix to revert them to human. In War of the Worlds: Part 2, Azmuth accompanied the team to Augstaka, where Ben used the Omnitrix to repair the Highbreed's DNA by fusing it with random species from the Omnitrix. At the end of the episode, after the Omnitrix had reset (locking Master Control in the process), Azmuth left to help rebuild Galvan Prime without reactivating it, telling Ben to "have fun figuring it out". In Vengeance of Vilgax: Part 1, when Ben and Kevin tried to hack the Omnitrix, Azmuth contacted Ben, telling him not to tamper with it, stating that he will learn how to activate the Master Control when the time is right. In Vengeance of Vilgax: Part 2, after the hacking attempt resulted in an explosion which unlesahed Chromastone, Goop, Spidermonkey, and Way Big from the Omnitrix, Azmuth instructed Ben to reabsorb the alien forms into the Omnitrix. Dissatisfied with what had happened, Azmuth also told Ben that he would not help him again. In Primus, Azmuth wielded the Omnitrix to protect Primus from Vilgax, but was defeated and Vilgax took the Omnitrix from him. Azmuth was saved by Ben, who later tricked Vilgax by showing him how to use the Omnitrix. Ben got Vilgax to transform into Goop, allowing Ben to get the upper hand and remove the Omnitrix from Vilgax. At the end of the episode, even though Azmuth hadn't forgiven Ben for damaging the Omnitrix, he allowed him to keep it anyway. In The Final Battle: Part 1, Myaxx informed Azmuth that the Ultimatrix had been stolen. Myaxx also showed security footage of Albedo, which distressed Azmuth. In The Final Battle: Part 2, Azmuth answered Ben's plea for help. He explained to Ben that the Omnitrix was originally meant for Max. When Ben said he let Azmuth down, he agreed. Azmuth told Ben that "winning isn't so easy without the Omnitrix", making Ben realize that the only way to defeat Vilgax would be to destroy the Omnitrix. Advertisement Ultimate Alien Azmuth returned in Map of Infinity, right after Ultimate Aggregor defeated Ben and his team. He told them about the Map of Infinity, an item Ultimate Aggregor was planning to steal to go to a place called the Forge of Creation. He also commented on the pathetic workmanship of the Ultimatrix, stating that the evolutionary feature was begging for trouble. He revealed that he was constructing a third Omnitrix. He refused to let Ben have it, because he is too reckless and requires much patience. He teleported the team to Galvan Mark II, Galvan Prime rebuilt. where he elaborated on the Map of Infinity. He later put Max in a tube to replace his nervous system, which was damaged Ultimate Aggregor. In Perplexahedron, Azmuth was angry with Ben for losing three pieces of the Map of Infinity. After Ben stated that yelling at him was not helping, Azmuth teleported the team to Perplexahedron to retrieve the final piece of the map. In The Forge of Creation, Azmuth lashed out at Ben and his team for letting Ultimate Aggregor beat them each time when they had four opportunities to stop him. After Professor Paradox reverted Alien X back to Ben, Azmuth argued with Paradox about the team's ability to save the universe this time. Azmuth also said that trusting Ben with the Omnitrix was a "grave mistake" though Paradox had said that it was not a mistake at all, and that he and Azmuth knew the reasons why all too well. Azmuth resentfully began to reveal that Paradox had told him that Ben was a legendary being born with incomprehensible, immeasurable power, and that he would someday do something amazing, as it was his "grand destiny", but Paradox interrupted him, saying that there must be "no spoilers". In The Transmogrification of Eunice, Azmuth appeared during Sunder and Ben's battle for the Unitrix and saw Ben and Sunder fighting in a muddy area. It was revealed that he was the one who hired Sunder to retrieve the Unitrix. He told Ben and his team about the Omnitrix prototype called the Unitrix and argued with Ben about putting Eunice back in storage, but after being impressed by Ben's strong defense over Eunice and his belief about his aliens, he agreed to a compromise and allowed her to live a free life as one of his assistants. He stated that he always needed help tending to Primus. Azmuth repairing the Ultimatrix Azmuth repairing the Ultimatrix In Simian Says, Eunice contacted Azmuth about the degradation of the Arachnachimp DNA sample on Primus; he angrily told her to send Volaticus Biopsis to get a fresh sample. In The Ultimate Sacrifice, Azmuth stopped the fight between Kevin and the Mechamorph Guard. He later fixed the glitch in the Ultimatrix that caused the Ultimate Forms to have sentience, and took them to his lab[ES 1] before taking them to a nice planet to live on where they could live comfortably and usefully.[DR 1] Young Azmuth and Zennith out on a date Young Azmuth and Zennith out on a date In Solitary Alignment, Azmuth became involved with the Forever Knights by claiming that the sword Sir George used to fight Dagon with, Ascalon, is his, which led Ben to question him about the First Knight. Azmuth reluctantly agreed to tell the origins of Ascalon by showing them moments from his past. In The Ultimate Enemy: Part 2, Azmuth came to reclaim Ascalon and the Ultimatrix, and in return gave Ben the new Omnitrix after Ben proved himself worthy of having it. Advertisement Omniverse In Showdown: Part 1, Azmuth was ambushed by Dr. Psychobos, Khyber, and his dog. They turned Khyber's dog into Omnivoracious to kill Azmuth. When she was busy battling Ben, Azmuth made a whistle out of a bone and turned Omnivoracious into Vicetopus to hold Dr. Psychobos captive. In Showdown: Part 2, Azmuth devised a plan to stop Malware from taking over Galvan Mark II. He, along with Gwen and Rook, traveled to the remains of Galvan to find a solution while Ben and Kevin kept Malware busy. Azmuth eventually found the Helix, which he believed could be beneficial. Azmuth later brought Feedback the Helix so he could use its powers to defeat Malware. Azmuth also revealed that he brought the Galvanic Mechamorphs back to life and watched as Feedback finally defeated Malware for good. Azmuth also appeaered in 16-year-old Ben's subconscious, telling 11-year-old Ben that Ben never learns anything just from winning and says that Ben could learn something from losing Feedback. In The Frogs of War: Part 2, it was revealed that Azmuth saved Ben and unlocked Bullfrag for him so he could sneak aboard an Incursean ship. In OTTO Motives, Azmuth had Ben teleported to Khoros, which took some convincing. Ultimate Albedo draining Azmuth's intelligence Ultimate Albedo draining Azmuth's intelligence Azmuth made an appearance at the end of A Fistful of Brains, as he was kidnapped by Albedo and Khyber, and was trapped within a machine. In For a Few Brains More, Albedo drained Azmuth's intelligence, causing Azmuth's "pre-brain" to take control. As a result, Azmuth exhibited childish behavior. After Azmuth was turned back to normal, he modified the Ultimatrix to turn Albedo into an 11-year-old clone of Ben as punishment. He also said that Ben needs to stop hitting the Omnitrix so hard, because whenever he transforms into an alien, the impact of his hit sets the timer to random. Azmuth was mentioned in the case during Universe vs. Tennyson, in which Chadzmuth indicated that the changes in his appearance and voice over the years were the result of Celestialsapiens redesigning the universe. In Malgax Attacks, Ben came to Azmuth, asking him to separate Skurd from the Omnitrix. Azmuth was fascinated by Skurd, having believed that the Slime-Biot race was extinct. Though he tried to dissuade Ben from his decision, Azmuth agreed to use ionic particle surgery to remove Skurd. He then placed Skurd in a container, hoping to study him. When Vilgax and Albedo attacked Galvan Prime, Azmuth chose to deal with Albedo. When he confronted him in his lab, Albedo (as Ultimate Rath) seemingly vaporized him with a blaster. However, Blukic and Driba discovered that Azmuth had actually teleported himself at that exact moment and managed to reconstitute him. Azmuth used a device to shut down Albedo's Ultimatrix, preventing him from transforming. He then revealed to Albedo that he became the First Thinker for coming up with possible contingency plans, such as a failsafe for preventing the misuse of an Omnitrix. After Vilgax was defeated, Azmuth commended Blukic and Driba for being smart enough to recognize the clue he left behind, adding that the reconstitution process had fixed his sciatica, leaving him feeling "like brand new". He is well-regarded as the smartest being in five galaxies.[1] His genius, particularly his ability to always plan for every scenario and contingency, caused him to be awarded the title of "First Thinker" by his species.[10] He even is aware of and often thinks in regard to the Omniverse, as demonstrated by Ultimate Albedo when he absorbed Azmuth's intelligence.[11] Azmuth is excellent at engineering. He is a skilled inventor, having created an incredibly wide breadth of inventions, some of which are incredibly powerful and capable of bending reality, such as the Omnitrix and Ascalon, respectively. He is also capable of improvising, as shown when he fashioned a spaceship out of a large Mechadroid's head[2] and a whistle out of a bone with the help of the Proto-Tool.[13] Azmuth possesses a vast scientific and technological knowledge of alien paraphernalia. As the creator of the original Omnitrix, and the catalyst for all future Omnitrices to be created, Azmuth knows all the functions of those he created, and thus has the potential to utilize any Omnitrix model more effectively than anyone else. He can also discern the functions of devices he did not create, as he demonstrated with the Nemetrix[13] and recreated Ultimatrix.[11] Azmuth can jump high in the air.[1] Equipment Spacesuit Spacesuit 1/8 Azmuth has a spacesuit, allowing him to survive in unsuitable environments.[14][15] Azmuth's preferred tool for emergency contingency plans is his personal teleporter. He can use it to teleport himself to avoid death,[10] teleport the user of the Omnitrix to him,[13] or even set the Omnitrix to teleport itself to him.[16] Azmuth has a spaceship.[15] Azmuth has a device that can disable Omnitrix technology.[10] Azmuth piloted a robotic Bio-Suit when he first encountered Ben. It was damaged by Ben as Cannonbolt.[2] Azmuth fashioned an impromptu spaceship out of a large Attack Robot's head to leave Xenon.[2] He last left it on Earth.[17] Azmuth temporarily used the Mechamorph Armor to repair the Rustbucket.[17] Azmuth formerly wielded a DNA Repair Gun, which he used to revert the DNAliens back to human.[6] Azmuth temporarily used the original Omnitrix to battle Vilgax on Primus.[16] Advertisement Weaknesses Small Size Small Size 1/3 Azmuth's small size makes him unsuitable for physical battle, so he must outsmart his enemies in a fight. Being a Galvan, Azmuth is at a massive disadvantage against the Nemetrix's sample of an Omnivoracious due to his small size.[13] Azmuth is vulnerable to electricity.[11] Azmuth's arrogance and ego can lead him to miscalculate or become short-sighted. Acts as a wireless transmitter to the Omnitrix and Ultimatrix. Its location can be changed to keep it hidden or in the case of being compromised.[16] Codon Stream DNA database. Volaticus Biopsis Mosquito-like creatures created by Azmuth to collect DNA from aliens for the Codon Stream. They live on Primus. Ascalon Azmuth created Ascalon and gave it to Sir George 1000 years ago.[1] He got the idea of making Ascalon after doing some stargazing while observing a nearby planetary system in complete alignment. After the destruction of the Incursean homeworld by Ascalon and falling out between him and his girlfriend Zennith, Azmuth regrets inventing Ascalon and vowed to dedicate himself to peaceful sciences. It was given back to Azmuth by Ben in The Ultimate Enemy: Part 2. Helix An experiment in the hopes of making Galvan B inhabitable for colonization. It led to the creation of the Galvanic Mechamorphs and Malware. He had been working on creating a second Helix to cure Malware's condition, but it was stolen and upgraded Malware having lasting effects to this day.[14] Galvanic Mechamorphs In an experiment to make Galvan B habitable for colonization using his Helix, he accidentally brought the Galvanic Mechamorphs into existence. This ended his plans of colonization of Galvan B.[14] Mechamorph Armor A suit of armor that allows the user to become a Galvanic Mechamorph. Unfortunately, a single flaw "pumps up the user's aggression" and makes them almost feral.[17] Galvanian Skeuomorph The Skeuomorph was created to destroy the B.L.R.R.T. on Earth. Bio-Suit A large exo-armor Azmuth wore in Secret of the Omnitrix. It was damaged by Ben as Cannonbolt. Unitrix A prototype model of the Omnitrix. At first, Azmuth intended to store the DNA in separate containers. However, the idea was discarded for something that could store DNA, keep track of collected DNA, make it easier to safeguard and, if necessary, revive dead species more easily. The Omnitrix introduced the idea of walking in the shoes of other lifeforms. This prototype eventually led to the birth of Eunice.[18] Omnitrix (Original) Azmuth's most notable invention. It allowed the user to transform into many different aliens. It was created as a device to allow one to understand other species better.[2] Its power was seen as a weapon by many, including Vilgax. Originally was to be entrusted to Max, but was found by Ben.[19] Self-destructed in The Final Battle: Part 2 to prevent Vilgax, who had obtained it by forcing Ben into giving it to him, from using it. Galvan Mark II A rebuilt version of Galvan Prime, after it was destroyed by the Highbreed.[6] Azmuth designed Galvan Mark II to have a series of firewalls in case of viral attacks.[20] In light of Malware's attack, he made upgrades in their defenses. Ultimatrix (Original) The successor of the Omnitrix with some of the same features as the Omnitrix. Azmuth wasn't finished making it when it was stolen, completed, and modified by Albedo in The Final Battle: Part 1, who added an evolutionary feature that evolved aliens into their Ultimate form. Azmuth mentioned that it was shoddy workmanship and cited the evolutionary function as "begging for trouble".[7] It was removed by Azmuth in The Ultimate Enemy: Part 2 so that he could give Ben his third Omnitrix. He later destroyed it. Omnitrix (Omniverse) In Map of Infinity, Azmuth said he had been making yet another new Omnitrix. In The Ultimate Enemy: Part 2, Azmuth revealed that the original Omnitrix was a prototype and he started working on the improved Omnitrix six years ago. In the same episode, he removed the Ultimatrix and gave the Omnitrix to Ben, as he had proved worthy enough for his new creation. Teleport Beacon In Malgax Attacks, Blukic and Driba used this machine to rematerialize Azmuth after his presumed death. Omnitrix Disabling Device In Malgax Attacks, Azmuth used this device to disable Albedo's Ultimatrix. Galvans are a species of small bipedal frog-like amphibians with gray skin, about six inches tall on average.[10] Their bodies consist of soft and flexible bones,[DM 1] allowing them to squeeze into tight spaces or quickly escape from danger. Galvans have large, bulbous eyes with rectangular pupils. They have two sets of eyelids, which close vertically and horizontally, respectively. Normal Galvans have green eyes,[DM 2] except Albedo, who has red eyes (as his colors were inverted).[5] Galvans from Dimension 23 have blue eyes. Galvan tadpoles are only heads with tails, and lack any extra limbs.
