With no prior experience or finesse in using human legs, Deku feels like a fish out of water - pun intended. Deku, who has been used to her tail mobility, now has to grapple with adapting to the functions of human legs. She stumbles, trips and falls over little things, struggling immensely with balance and pace. Surprisingly though, the longer she spends with her temporary legs, the more she starts to believe that they actually belong to her, while the tail now seems to belong to Soto. It's a peculiar case of identity crisis and a test of adaptability for Deku, an odd side-effect of Soto's quirk, and something that unravels a whole new world of self-exploration and self-acceptance for our protagonist.
